We have been counting this down for a while. We knew this moment was coming...and it came tonight...on the way home from Rigby Lake.
This was the day that our speedometer turned to 6 digits! When we saw it go to 99,999 miles we stopped for a moment...and tried to think about what we should do the second when the 6 digits could be seen.
The moment didn't last long for our tired, screaming babies were singing a little chorus in the back seat. So to celebrate, we counted to 100 as fast as we could the second the speedometer read 100,000 miles. We had to get to 100 before we saw 100,001 miles. Needless to say, we met our goal and we were quickly on our way home.
And that, my friends, is how we celebrated 100,000 miles in our blue van on the way home from Rigby Lake tonight, with two screaming kids in the backseat!
Don't stop blogging! I feel like I am not missing out as much on your cute kids life when I see pics of them. I've said this before, but you have gotten so good at photos! Also, Afton is so sweet. i can't wait to spend a whole week with her!
